Forest on the Oregon Coast.

I took this picture on December 30th, when I was doing my last walk for 2025. This is a small natural area on the southside of town, I went there and walked around. The entire area takes 45 minutes to hike, at most, but it was worth it.

I think I've been doing too much lately. On New Year's Even, I ended up feeling more tired than normal, and had a cough and sore throat. That continued today, but after napping through the day, I feel I have my energy back.

Beautiful picture! And I'm glad you're feeling better. I caught a cold on Christmas, but I'm pretty much over it now (and very grateful for my nose being open and clear).

Oooooh something green. I went into a plant shop today because I miss green things so much. Nothing but slush and old snow around here.

The forest is so gorgeous. Looks like it's carpeted in moss? I have a few bits of my yard with moss and I love how soft it is.

Yeah, there are places in nearby parks with plenty of those, but nothing like the PNW has. There used to be liverworts, but the last time I looked, I couldn't find any.
