I woke up an hour too early today. Tried to get back to sleep. And I couldn't, so on a day when I could have done so many things and got my house in order...I basically just kept hitting "refresh" on the intarwebs, hoping to get stimulation.

...and if you were to go back to my original Livejournal in 2002, you would probably read a lot of entries like that.

Anyway, they can't all be winners.

This is the second post I've read today that refers to LJ in 2002. How bizarre!
I wish I still had the entries from my original LJ, I only have the ones from 2015 imported over to here. I love to re-read them sometimes, but I do wish I had a little insight in to my psyche as it was 20+ years ago.. although I'm sure it wouldn't be all that different!

The most interesting thing to me is that time has started to drift, like I might slowly push my attitude back---remember 2007 things as being 2003 things, etcetera. Not necessarily in factual details, but in attitudes and interests.

This is why I love and continue to keep a journal. It's such an insight. After reading this yesterday I was inspired to see if my old LJ might still be there - despite my requesting its deletion, it was actually still there. I've now moved some more posts over to here and stored them privately for my own reading,
