Date: 2026-04-21 05:23 am (UTC)I don't know about you, but for me, those kinds of trivial pleasures can be very restful and regenerating if I'm feeling done with life and its day to day nonsense: tired, overworked, disappointed, someone was a jerk, etc. But if I have more global problems--am I going to lose my house? run out of money? die of some horrible disease?--those kinds of temporary escapes don't help at all, in fact can make things feel worse.
